but someone who's good at 30 fps can transcend into a god if given 300 fps

pretty much what happened to me when i bought a good pc and 144hz monitor
and ngl the monitor actually is a big difference when play shooters

i just don't have the pc to give me more than 30 fps on minecraft (and i'll get one in october) so i have to resort to configs that makes your game look shit to get that 120 fps experience

honestly, this has been so true for every FPS game but
it can put you at a (slight) advantage if you set everything down to the lowest (using configs) but keeping model textures at high, so players are easier to spot out in the environment. Not that they're hard to spot out, but it can help with crosshair placement

it also makes clutter easier to see through like all the shit you see in overwatch
