Yeah I did it during my no item box & no heals run on assisted a week or so ago to test it.

Didn't do the RPD one though, just the sewers. Was a pain.

With Leon or Claire? Also how did you manage to get past the end game? Did you have a lot of shotgun ammo stored or...?

Claire. Still learning Leon's run for my second S+ Hardcore atm.

Assisted is a lot easier because enemies have less health and you get double the ammo from drops. Plus you'll snap to weakpoints if you aim near them. Between that and the gunpowder and ammo I was more than stocked.

Call me dumb for this, but I want to try and speedrun with the glitch on normal dificulty just to see if I can get an S+ but my problem right now is the end game.

It should be more than feasible. Leon, I assume?

You don't need the flamethrower and as long as you grab all of the gunpowder from the RPD you can before doing it and upgrade the shotgun (on top of all the stuff in the NEST), you should be fine. I'd even skip the Magnum, personally.
