I'm shell-shocked but not surprised.

the game didnt even fucking release and this is the first dlc announced??? wtf???
They did it with Battlefield 4 iirc, so it wouldn't be beyond me if they did it with Battlefield 1

As long as the default maps are good I don't even mind DLCs. BF4 default maps were shit and I wasn't gonna pay extra just to enjoy the game that I already bought for 60$.

Biggest problem for me personally about BF4 tended to be the lag, mixed with the fact very few of the default maps where any good. Maybe two I legit looked forward to, the rest just... eh.

Hardline was fun but was basically a reskin.

Lag and the problems accompanying it have already been resolved

Si - I more meant back when I actively played not long after it came out. I think I stopped around the time the first DLC got announced. All the same though when it worked, as a game it was fucking fun.

The one with the radio tower falling over, best map in bf3 imo. Haven't played it on 4 cause no DLC.
4 brought a lot of those maps back I think - I remember playing Caspian Border.

If you ignore the mostly shitty DLC, go for it imo. 4 had some good shit.

By this sentence alone, I can tell how uninformed you are.

Please do some research on Valve and Half-Life 3. I'd start by watching Valve News Network.

You're entirely uninformed yourself. HL3 may exist but it makes no sense for Valve to announce or release the game, they make far more money on their Steam platform and the marketplace than they could ever hope to earn from HL3; It also has a lot of hype and would likely damage their reputation unless it was a perfect game which is impossible. Might wanna do your own research.
