man, i still vividly remember how this all started

sit back kids, time for a nostalgiajerk from some faggot who thinks he's still relevant

It was a pretty quiet afternoon. Saturday, I think. Me and @scrubmcnoob were just kinda hanging out in the same channel as Alex as he was talking about all the shit that was going down, we were just kinda nodding our heads and sympathizing. Then, one of us came up with a fantastic idea. I don't even know if it was him or me, or if both of us just suddenly shouted it out together in unison. We were going to bring Gurrazor to his knees through the sheer power of memes. Memetic warfare, so to speak.

And thus, the illegal meme factory was born. I probably still have a few of them lying around, but so many more were lost to the ages. Over a dozen memes in that first hour. Comparing Gurrazor to a shekel-hungry jew. To a slave master whipping his child laborers. To the 1% in society, people who already have it all but still want more. We spread that like wildfire. At exactly 1 PM down to the minute, we unleashed hell. Telling people about the scumbaggery over Teamspeak, on Steam, Discord, in the server, through private Chatzy ERP rooms. Revealing all to those who asked.

Part of me expected Gurrazor to come down hard with the banhammer, but another part of me knew he wouldn't dare. To ban a current developer, and a former server director at the drop of a hat? Both still active and well-respected community members? It couldn't be done. He'd make martyrs out of us. And so everything collapsed in less than a day. By 8 PM sharp, the forums were in shambles, accusations were flying, and Gustaf was put on the defensive. It was the beginning of the end.

Alex had never actually asked for it, just kinda nodded his head and said "sure, whatever" when me and Scrub proposed the idea. In all honesty, I don't think he expected it to actually work. But it did, and it did beautifully, and I was a belligerent little shit all the way through. Coming on TS with alt accounts, convincing admins to unban those accounts when I got banned repeatedly, giving people talk power so they could yell insults at him, and generally being a dumbfuck. Hey, civility ain't my style. I'd rather give a short, heated argument and then go back to not giving a fuck afterwards.

Eventually, it culminated in everyone getting mad at Gurra (save for like, three people who were all asslickers anyways). I got IP banned from the forums for spamming pictures of gay porn with his face photoshopped over the bottom's face. Scrub got IP banned for similar reasons, I think. We all had a hearty chuckle, I made one final meme video that ended up getting really gay at the end, the servers descended into anarchy shortly before shutting down. Abusequill and Alex made Nebulous, we all came over, and that's that.

Man I still remember reading the first thread scrub put up. It was pretty nice to see forums collapse at the drop of a hat. Pretty incredible.

Man I remember LP's death, especially the thread with 100+ agree ratings filled with memes and people muting OOC to make everyone shut up. Oh, and the final event that ended with the server crashing 3 times in a row, plus an admin permabanning Gurrazor afterwards.
