"Finally"? Pretty sure the latest, actual game was Dota 2 from 2013. They couldn't do jack for five years?

They were apparently working on hardware such as the HTC Vive and improving Steam

to be fair, dota did undergo an entire engine transition and general overhaul within that 5 years. like yeah sure that was their last full game release but they were making it a point to continue improving their cash cow lineup. They simply were doing things that a lot of folks weren't too keen on *cough* where the fuck is hl3 *cough*

That aint made by valve

I'd go look at the store page if I were you.

DEVELOPER:
Valve
PUBLISHER:
Valve

It was just a free game made by some former mod devs that Valve had hired, and as Valve goes, you can work on your own shit as long as you can get people on board with making it happen.

Steam Machines and SteamOS have more or less become completely redundant now that Steam Play has made over 1000 Windows only games Linux compatible to a state of minimal to no bugs or glitches, im fairly certain Valve actually removed many of the download links for SteamOS and some purchase pages for Steam Machines in the weeks coming up to Steam Play's beta

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. They tried and they failed, now they are backing off. Hence why they're "in position to make games" as they aren't trying to create alternatives that have no right of working.
