I don't see why this needed to be posted, the .io in a domain name is obviously irrelevant to this. I really don't understand why you try to assert your medical knowledge in every thread you enter - we get it, you work in the medical field IRL, you know a lot of things, that's cool. No need to rub it in in threads where it doesn't need to be stated.IO is an abbreviation for a route of administration in medicine which stands for "Intra-osseous". Intraosseous medication is delivered into the bone marrow of usually the tibia just proximal to the kneecap. Bone marrow is very vascular and thus medication is rapidly delivered. A little drill is used to lodge a catheter into the bone.
