Name of the Game : Civilization V

About the game : You get pick one of the many countries you're allowed to play and start as a little baby with just a single settler and a warrior from the ancient era, expanding your civilization throughout the time, until you reach the future era and unlock some sweet death robots and nukes. You can get different endings such as the diplomatic victory, scientific and my favorite, the domination victory where you murder everyone.

Why do you recommned this game : The game has multiplayer which allows you to play with friends and others. You get a variety of countries [MORE ADDED WITH CERTAIN DCLS] to choose from and can customize each game so it doesn't get too repetitive. Its also one of the best strategic games I know of.

P.S... It also has communism.

Where can you get it: (Optional) Steam

How much can you get it for: (Optional) 7,49 EURO right now, during the winter sale and the DLCs for 26.65 EURO.

Name of the Game : Last of Us

About the game : The game takes off as the world begins to end and crumble to a deadly fungal infection that spreads across the Unites States from crops in South America. You take the role of Joel (Some moments as Ellie too), who loses his daughter amidst the chaos at the beginning of the game. It fast forwards twenty years and he's tasked with escorting a young girl across the the country.

Why do you recommned this game :
The story's brilliant and it's very comparable to a movie. What makes the story so great is how close the two become as Ellie slowly begins to slot into Joel's life to fill in the hole that his late daughter had left behind. Gameplay's also decent if you enjoy linear but in-depth games. There's plenty of looting and collectibles to complete and has plenty of replayability.

Where can you get it: It's only available for PS3 (Original) and PS4 (Remastered) but it's purchasable from the PS Store.

How much can you get it for: Somewhere between £15 - £20.

Name of the Game : Dark Souls III

About the game :
Good all-rounder; good lore, great gameplay, great graphics and an awe-inspiring soundtrack.

Why do you recommend this game: I've logged enough hours into this game to know how good it is. It's honestly not as difficult as people claim it to be, but still gives quite a challenge. The feeling after killing a boss you've failed at for ages is really something.

I've played all of the souls games, from the best to worst, here they are (in my opinion):

1. Dark Souls
2. Demon's Souls
3. Dark Souls 3
4. Dark Sous 2

Not my favourite, but something I strongly recommend anyone to play
Name of the Game : Transistor

About the game : By the same people that made Bastion, this one also won a few awards. It’s set in a futuristic city that seemingly has robotic technology, but we don’t see much of that as right from the get-go were thrown into the main characters lover being stabbed with a huge sword thing, the world collapsing and the conciousness of the lover living on and speaking inside the sword.
Set to a great soundtrack it’s basically a hack’n’slash with a bit of cool and innovative spice thrown on top.

Why do you recommned this game : Gameplay is really fun, soundtrack is great, so great that I still sit and listen to it while studying. Its art style is beautiful, and the story is really emotional and left me at the brink of tears.

Where can you get it: Steam and GOG

How much can you get it for: Price fluctuates, usually around 10-15 €

Since nobody brought it up...Heathens.

Name of the Game :
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

About the game : The Elder Scrolls IV is the fourth major entry to the Elder Scrolls series. Set in the Empires heartland, Cyrodiil. You start off as a prisoner in the capital, the Imperial City. There, you would be found by Jean-luc Picard Uriel Septim VII, who is escaping assassins with his bodyguards. Your cell is the way out of the city through an escape route placed there and you get to go along. The Emperor though ends up dead and chaos ensues as the demonic Daedra invade Cyrodiil through Oblivion gates, led by the Daedric Prince of Destruction, Mehrunes Dagon. This game was released in 2006 on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, and is compatable with both next-generation consoles

Why do you recommend this game : Now, the reason why I love this beyond Skyrim is that in my opinion, Oblivion retains a perfect mix between dumbing down the elements towards a wider audience, while keeping those elements strangely detailed and does so wonderfully, whereas in Skyrim (and her multiple releases) it feels missing, and could be considered more of an action with RPG elements than an RPG with action elements, which I like more and that's what I get from Oblivion. I am also a freak for what I like to call "moldable games", sandbox games that fit your style, like going as far as to skip the main questline after getting out into the world can work for you. All n' all though, I'd totally recommend watching Gamespots short-lived "Escape from Mount Stupid" video on the series altogether (Done before Skyrim was released), Oblivion is the first one looked at.

Where can you get it: Our Lord and Savior, Gabe, has allowed Steam to sell these games, of course though if by the infinitesimal chance you don't have Steam or run on a system that can use Gmod and yet not Oblivion, circa 2005 (looking at Nicrobe), then there is Xbox and Playstation copies you can still get, all for cheap, just get the Game of the Year editions.

How much can you get it for:

Steam - $20 USD http://store.steampowered.com/app/900883/
Amazon (PS3) - $23.75 USD https://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-IV-Playstation-sony-playstation3/dp/B000TVT7U4?th=1
Amazon (Xbox - ONLY AVAILABLE IN STANDARD OR COLLECTORS, NOT RECOMMENDED) - $25.99 USD https://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-IV-Oblivion-Xbox-360/dp/B000BI3QK2

All prices are in New variants. Personally, I do have standard on my Xbox, which is what I got alongside the Xbox, all the way back to 2008. Since that, I got all the DLCs (including the now infamous "Horse Armor" DLC, a precursor to the Creation Club) and enjoyed them all, and still can play the game on there on the original disk on the sort-of-original Xbox today, and I still have the Cyrodiil map with that.

Though of course I always wanted the game on PC for the Mod Market.
