Fucking said it, brother.
Nothing better than having a good pack.
Share how you started lifting, fellow kings.
Used to be a chubby little fucker I was, always looked at magazines and saw fucking gigachads and other perfect body types. Never really had self-confidence either and wouldn't dare approach lasses since I knew they wouldn't be attracted to some chump.
One day said fuck it, contacted one of my pals who has a coach and started getting into it, no brakes. Dieting, lifting and running (alongside physical work from parameidc'ing alone) got me fit and
still lacking self-confidence ayyyy lmaooo
Nothing better than being comfortable going to the beach now though (before covid) and have a great six-paxk and just not having a fat fuckin tummy that bulged out
I decided to start ice-skating in 2017 and moved to ice hockey shortly afterwards. that season I went from 65 kg to 71 kg in a few months of on-ice training alone. I took up some running before that to improve my stamina on-ice
One competitive season later I was still at the same level of strength and conditioning, only having improved my on-ice performance. I went from 71 kg to 75 kg that season, still without strength training
This season I had to stop because of university and dorms. Decided to go to my uni's gym hall for strength training and conditioning so that I could make a really good comeback in hockey
Finally, this semester, I decided to shift my focus more towards to 800m training while keeping strength training around. I didn't want my previous training scheme to tighten me up
I hope the combination of strength training and amount of lactate threshold work will help me out a lot of I ever get the chance to play again
all went to shit bc of the lockdown, so atm I'm almost exclusively base-building. trying to hit 70 km/week post-lockdown so that I can make a really good off-season training plan for june-october
