In some areas it is better, but in some areas it doesn't have as much charm.

The game didn't grab me at first and I was worried that I wasn't gonna be able to enjoy it but after a few hours and getting used to the new UI and systems I've been having a blast. It's a fun game for sure and def captures the spirit of the original game.
