so slavery is now actually a concept instead of people you purchase from slavers just becoming willing members of your colony, that's cool.

always thought it was weird how nobody ever acknowledged they were adopting slavery, even the slaves themselves.

when I first saw this DLC was coming out I was like "ideology? that sounds like a weird concept for a DLC" but it seems like this adds a whole lot of really interesting shit so I was definitely wrong lol

is this a free dlc? i remember almost buying royalty but it really looked a bit ass for the price tag, considering you could probably mod it

All I can think of when I see this screenshot is this song:

mental break, colonist just got cannibalised, no food, volcanic winter, blight, freezing temperatures, no power, heating gone, 3 people left, bodies all around, raid just started, ghost town

permanent winter unfortunately means that during the very harsh climates even the slaves get to sleep indoors

if anyone has any ideas how to make it so you restrict slaves only to one area so when they revolt they're stuck in a box that'd epic
i thought of making a few specific mining slaves that have their base and their own kitchen in the side of a mountain and they cant enter or exit only one guy hauls food over every once in a while and then i circulate them until they've dug everything on the map out.

its that or a logging camp with the same qualities in a big enclosure not sure what i want to do yet

most effective might be a farming camp honestly since they'll be self sufficient and then i can come hog when i need when i need it. strawberries maybe so they dont even need to cook it?

Head to zones, it should be the one on the end that says "Expand Allowed Area". You're able to create new ones, so you can name one as 'Slave' and then highlight the slave-allocated area on the map for them.

Then when you go onto the Assign tab, it's on the right with the bars that say "Unrestricted" and "Home".

no i know this but when they revolt they dont give a shit they just walk out, you'd need to make a locked only some people can enter door in an enclosure for that door to stop them (because when they revolt they wont have free access to locked doors), preferably some kind of granite construction with an outer perimiter of turrets that guns anyone that breaks a wall down when they try to leave

i quite literally mean restrict them from leaving when they revolt, a gulag if you will

i dont think so no
if slaves are revolting make a slave collar and slave body strap for them to wear, sets suppression fall rate to 0%

havent played since the release but do slaves bash doors down when revolting or just open them manually
