oh nooo everybody had to get refunded it took 15 minutes and everybody went on with their lives

yeah it was stupid but it was fucking funny to watch, both at the time and in hindsight

we treat shit like this as though it should be punishable by ritual suicide when in fact it's a minor inconvenience that was fixed literal minutes later

its no different to going on a darkrp server and trolling tf out of people; you intentionally piss off people who quite clearly take the game far too seriously and that's hilarious

this shit doesnt have to be that deep

like when i blew up the ota with the rpg i had some people (not nameshaming dont ask) message me unironically like "dude.. what the fuck.. how could you do something so shitty.. i can't believe it.. i thought better of you.."

bro it took under 30 seconds to fix the damage i did and then it was business as usual

I don't think it was done from amusement. IIRC Jaf's cop had been executed by rebels earlier that day, thus leading to this burst of RDM done for revenge.

Didn't say it wasn't funny to watch we were staff then and we laughed about it but we did so because it was irredeemably stupid, even more to record it HIMSELF and then upload it to brag about it.

People take issue because Neb is a community where you get to know people and collaborate with them, sometimes for years, day in and day out and then they'll go out of their way to do something they shouldn't either to get an edge or ruin the experience for others - often abusing the trust and power you gave them to do it.

Nobody cares when some retard joins and RDM's or fucks around. People care when someone they've trusted turns and goes "ACTUALLY I never liked roleplay and I have a life and ur all cringe and also fuck you lol" while mowing people down in the middle of an event or whatever.

Yeah I mean idc it got solved in a minute and then banned for life so the more reason to wonder what went up wrong up there in his coconut, plus yeah it can be solved in a minute but if you're enjoying some time with your community pals roleplaying something cool, having some aftermath of a fight, or whatever, having someone come and interrupt it can be annoying as fuck

Ofc they can continue after (sometimes they might not though, same as server crashes- you can just rejoin and continue but some people will be annoyed and not feel like continue playing) but that doesn't make it any better or more enjoyable or funny really either.

Like, my expected experience from this server is "roleplay and S2K" not "petty person decides to interrupt the flow of the game to throw a tantrum".

Like I said above, nobody is mad because they have to type a few commands or because some random retard joined and killed a few people.

It hits much different when its someone you've known for years, trusted, and who you've given the tools that they then use to try and ruin an event or mow down a bunch of people while acting like they're better than you and whatever because they can't quit like a normal human being.
