P straightforward,

mine would probably be:

lp_fork for its size and overall aesthetic quality

rp_1944 berlin for being one of the most-suited city maps as well as being large enough to house all the external factions

rp_paralake_city for creating amusing combat scenarios despite having a somewhat flawed layout

I probably forgot a whole bunch of maps I thoroughly enjoyed

Uhhhh idk what its called but its the one with snow and motel which was set in Georgia during the 2016 lore i think.

Favourite moments as civilian. Especially being forced to do a squat to prove I'm not a western spy.

evocity was p decent to be honest, only problems were that globs got absolutely shitfucked every time they wanted to use the trains to enter the city

fork was pretty nice too, but the fps was unbearable

paralake is p good but it was sided to those who could afford grapples.

the korea campaign map was p good too for it's replayability

i didn't enjoy fork though, probably because of the size compared to the average pop. the server had and the distances between the soviet/coal base and the city

pripyat is way too fucking boring to look at sometimes but it wasn't bad in terms of combat but it became repetitive due to one of the sides stacking on top/inside of a building

generations map was good for germans (the side i played) because allies just kept fucking losing and we would hold out in the mansion/house but allies staff would get pissy and say we're camping!!!!

But uh, yeah here's a few more personal favourites
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=200098715&searchtext= - Whatever the dark version of this was called, I loved watching NATO patrols just stroll on by in the dark

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=574172031 - I think this was the one with the massive waterfall and shit right? I forget, but that map was cash

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=200098715&searchtext= - Same with any other salvation variation, all good for balanced gameplay and plenty of spots to skirmish in, but it's been overused a bit in my opinion

paralake was nice, I liked the swamps and marshes, but that massive tower made me want to kms, not because it's a bad spot but every squad leader would go there, get encircled, and end up POW'd

rp_fork is definitely up there main reasons were that the map had a generally good ambience, wasn't linear, and had more than one location or hotspot for events or confrontations to happen

rp_frostbite is another selection, again it goes back to the atmosphere the map had

and last but not least, pripyat. unpopular opinion, but perhaps I see it through rose tinted glasses as it was my first map in ww3rp's days of yore. I definitely preferred it when it had that ambient static electric sound and the eerie music playing in the background, but I still liked it either way

Pripyat was a very good map the issue was we used it about twelve times

All stalker maps were a safe bet.
But I have some favs
  • Pripyat as it had a good mix of CQC and range engagements, and was viable for civilians
  • Ineu Valley for visuals and being my first ever ww3rp map I played
  • Apocalypse for the best memories I've had playing on a map (rip akami, the amnesiac, brainwashed NCO)
  • EvoCity, the one with the farmlands and city with mostly accessable buildings, not the darkRP evo city. That was my favourite map to passive on, even on the battlefield.
