The worst part about polls is that they never take into account REALITY, just opinions on what something may sound like.

Polls are honestly cancer, especially bad ones that have some sort of general good sounding title, when in reality, it's just garbage policy for anyone with an in tact brain reading it.

First of all, these aren't "pie in the sky" ideas (necessarily).

Second of all, if polls are faulty then where are you getting the idea that americans by and large don't support these policies? That they're somehow "unpopular" among the voting body?

I mean, it just seems like a complete dodge imo.

Also, if you want an example of bad polling questions, you should check out the "official" State of the Union feedback poll Trump sent to his supporters (who subscribed to his campaign site). The questions are all loaded with 'multiple choices' that are all synonyms for the same words, presuming positive feedback (and also not reaching out to potential naysayers).

To be fair I would actually want to have the whole EU/NATO finally dissolved so Govs can stop fucking around with budgets and finally organize themselves under the threat of having all their positions booted by some populist guy.
