No need to tbh.

Monolith still rakes in more than enough kids who're happy to waste their money on the formula he started with LP. Its no longer maxing out as it was a few years ago but it doesn't need to now.

Updates for GTA RP will be posted in this category from now on - don't forget that you can get notified by alert/e-mail of new posts if you click watch forum. We've made a good amount of progress since the last post, with our development repo surpassing our HL2 RP repo in number of commits! Gameplay systems are being fleshed out and polished as we're starting to wire them together into a more cohesive experience.

Keep in mind that everything you see is a work in progress! Things will change; you might see some temporary programmer art or unsquashed bugs.

Weight is now fully implemented along with drag 'n' drop previewing. I'd like to see you try and fit 18 rifles in your pocket.

the health meter should be filled red by default and deplete as damage is taken rather than the other way around, same as any armour properties. this is standard, prevents players looking at empty bars and going "is that 0%? did my armour work?"

the trunk HUD coming up looks obnoxious and im sure will be annoying to look at every time you pass by a trunk. can i scale the HUD pop ups, can i turn it off? can i opt to use commands only rather than a button press i.e. /opentrunk?

the phone should just pop up from the bottom of your screen rather than "whipping in" at what looks to be a 45 degree angle. create an actual border around the phone rather than just the display

offer a mph option. put hud towards the left by the health rather than forcing user to look left and centre constantly

phone taking out and putting away anim is nice, phone is a good start

concentrate script "jobs" etc into one part of the map (the city) rather than forcing players to drive upwards of 8 miles to do certain script jobs

Icons turn red at "critical" status, and bars only show if you aren't at full. I'm trying to avoid the colour vomit as much as possible

Interaction prompts still need to be tweaked for more stringent context checking so they come up only when they need to. We could have prompts togglable for people that have played a bunch and already know what's interactable and what isn't. Chat commands aren't happening

Vehicle dash uses whatever unit setting you have set in gta. I want to avoid cramming everything around the minimap because then you have the same problem of not being able to discern between icons/text quickly

The first iteration of the delivery-style jobs had this problem, we've changed it so that the delivery points are kept within a radius of each other to minimize driving back and forth. The payout also increases with distance travelled
