The anime is worth a watch, the newer 3DCG anime is botched and the manga - well put simply you'll only enter the hell that is Kentaro Miura giving up writing Berserk to pursue iDOLM@ASTER causing chapters to rarely be released, lower quality than previous chapters despite taking ages to release and ultimately it's never gonna finish
