    Hello fella's.

    I've been fucking around with Zeus as of late, and would like to give people the oppertunity to experience something truly (and hopefully) cinematic.

    What is this?

    Recently we've been playing arma 2 escape chernarus, which is great - there are a few issues however with the Ai, the sometimes ridiculous difficulty, and overall the mission is just a heavily mission scripted scenario that has a lot of flaws.

    So i thought i'd rectify that by creating a small campaign similar. The entire thing will be managed by myself playing zeus, and follows the story of a group of journalists as they travel to war torn countries. Seems this time they arrived just in time..

    What will i need?

    Arma 3 and APEX. If you don't have apex, you're missing out a LOT; Tanoa is probably the best map Bohemia has released and is an extremely varied map, perfect for a dynamic mission such as this.

    What kind of things will expect?

    Nothing but a player-made dynamic story that will hopefully get you immersed and deeply interested in the ongoings of the island. This will be playermade completely and done completely on the fly, giving the ability for players to make their own decisions and for me to work around them. And example would be that they should search the ruins and see if they can come across allied refugees looking to get off the island. They could meet resistant AI, or AI wanting to join them. The entire scenario has possibility for light roleplay as well, and with the help of a possible (position open btw) game moderator, taking control of units and assuming the identity of that unit is very possible.

    The possibilities are endless, and because of this you can expect the game to last a while. Atleast 3-4 hours. This would be a dedicated evening affair and should be taken seriously; it's for your guy's immersion.

    What do you think? Leave feedback below and i'll edit the post to reflect the support it gets. If there is more support to host this on altis, i will consider it.

    Fucking APEX, I'm not willing to spend cash on anything, so it looks like I won't be able to join in on this.

    Fuck.

    I refunded Cities Skylines when it was 90% off even though I really enjoyed it.

    That's how much I'm not willing to spend money.

    Habbit I gained after gifting my friend a £15 game. (Coincidentally, it was Arma 3 on sale.)

    Few months later he ended up hacking my Steam, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Skype accounts, buying £40 worth of games and gifting them to himself whilst posting illegal content on facebook.

    3 months later he got bored and gave my steam account back.

    I now basically never buy a game unless it has overwhelmingly positive and costs under £5.

    Anyway, sorry Nova_ back on topic;

    It looks real fun, I just don't like the game personally. Have fun to those who play it!

    Maybe the big man island would be a better suited choice due to more people owning it

    I really don't think this is gonna happen, and I'd rather take 3-4 people who have Tanoa than 6-8 people who dont. Tanoa had thick jungles and lots of separate islands of which I want to make full use of, altis is just one huge landmass where thick vegetation and terrain aren't really a thing other than sweeping hills

    I'm not paying 25 quid for DLC in a game that's 30 quid, where the content is a single map, faction and some guns and vehicles.

    It's currently half price;

    A map that features caves, sprawling jungle, the biggest city in arma history, ruins, guns, equipment, uav, armed and unarmed vehicles for land air and sea, a pretty cool coop campaign and respective scenarios, plus I gets rid of the in game advertisements in multiplayer games.

    Overall it's a pretty solid deal for the current 12.50 pounds

    Mostly from you.

    Because I was lying prone next to it and if I ran I'd get gunned down, the grenades actually forced the driver out.
