Yep, was excited as fuck too. Turns out that the game feels heavily like Battlefront. I wouldn't spend 60 euros on it but I'll give it the "it's somewhat fun I guess" rating.

Battlefield 4 still best Battlefield tbh

Mhm. I think this time around was them rather simply trying to think of a game that not only was something that a lot of FPS Fans were craving (A game set in the past) but also something that DICE would enjoy working on. It's just ashame that EA have stepped in with their big boy boots and said "Hi, sorry to interrupt, but we're just gonna hold some stuff as some DLC for a later date. Y'know, like 2 Playable Factions, as you do". Then again, at least it isn't what Konami is currently going through by beating the Metal Gear Franchise into submission and turning it into a generic Zombie Game with little regard for the fans. At least DICE and EA have listened, it's just that the feedback will be behind a paywall or two

bf3 and bf4 were kinda of the same game, nothing majorly overhauled in either of them
they blended together for me
the beta is pretty fun so far, i am really enjoying the hole sizes from explosions and i like how it has more content than battlefront already
also horses are really fun

And it's the only Battlefield game where I can get kills
Tanks feel like threats, even the smaller ones too
Plane combat feels smooth
Horses are amazing
And being bayoneted out of no where is terrifying.
