finally beat radahn, only because he got stuck in a turning animation and using bleed
didn't find him very fun to fight due to the camera basically only seeing 1/4 of him up close

also his 4 meteor attack is bullshit and ruins the 2nd phase completely

I cheesed him w/ scarlet rot

His fight is arguably the hardest in the game

Both Astel instances are also hard if you’re not over leveled

Also Mimic Tear +10 scales with your damage, it’s basically easy mode.

42 hours in and i completed ranni's quest; still got dragonbarrow, altus, city outskirts, city, mt gelmir, and the giant mountains to explore

I really think I'm only gonna complete this game at 80+ hours

For anyone who's curious, NG+ (New Game Plus, or Journey 2) has no benefits other than having the option of choosing other endings for the final boss.

I somewhat regret entering NG+, mainly because you lose some pretty important stuff:

• All Grace Points
• All Runes
• All Stonesword Keys

You keep all your gear, stats, runes, smithing stones, crafting materials, and all map monument icons.

So unless you'd like to go through the game again using any OP builds (faith, dex, and strength quality build superiority), there really isn't any point besides (maybe) getting an achievement for completing all 7 NG+ journeys.

I should have just stayed on J1 and waited for DLC.

they’re called soulsborn games.

Elden Ring, Bloodblrne, and Darksouls are not in the same universe as far as we know.

yes it’s basically a souls game in *a lot* of aspects and Fromsoft usually has a uniqueness to their rogues, and yknow, triple A budget,

elden ring is just way nicer, the open world is absurd and sometimes makes boss battles in huge areas trivial with that fuckinf horse, but it definitely feels different from a typical souls like from literally just *big map* and *quick way to get around*

its a good looking game.
