Thank God I watched lots of Tarkov before hand LMAO, played today and wiped a squad of 3 with le scav and been using PMC for the quests pretty much, nothing more

Also a friendly bit of advice

stay the fuck away from factory until you’re comfortable enough with the game and actually have gotten to a point where you can handle yourself well in gunfights

actually ESCAPING from tarkov sounds very fucking hard
i don't think the game will be anything like it is rn when it's out

nikita also mentioned a console version (!!!) and a graphics overhaul

he says there's gonna be a LOTTA shit added this year, so thats cool :smiley:

I used to keep some maps from the wiki up on overlay to help me find out where the fuck I can leave

And for the headshot thing. That’s cause ammo, ammo is the BIGGEST thing besides kit and guns. I’ll link you a chart here that you can use to help you out.

Also pick your fights wisely, if you can’t afford to fight anyone, don’t shoot at them unless they shoot at you first, or unless you got the stuff to defend you

Finally people will be able to understand that USUCC are actually really bad people in the lore. And speaking of lore Nikita said iirc that he already has the entirety of the lore setup and ready to go, he just has to implement it.

Apparently EFT WILL have a campaign of sorts, seeming to start with streets and you can actually go from map to map until you... escape from Tarkov. And the karma system will do good to rid of the current KOS system we’ve got

Bad karma dudes will be hunted by everyone... literally everyone, bosses, UN, scavs, RGF, GRU. Making it damn near impossible to leave raid alive

Also karma will effect luck, which means bad karma = shitter loot or no loot at all and your weapons will malfunction ALOT
