Depends on what you like. I'm not the most experienced so take my word with a grain of salt. If you like:

Hardcore
Realistic (or as best as can be)
FPS

and if you're ready to go across the steep learning curve then yeah, definitely a worth it.

The only game in which I felt genuine fear as I walked around and heard a branch move to my left.
