My money says that fallout 3 remastered is on the same engine that they made the original with.
They've been using the creation engine for over a decade now.

bethesda don't know how to get the fallout tone right. if you've ever played fallout 1/2 and then played any of the other fallout games, 3 and 4 are dogshit and new vegas is the one that comes closest. bethesda don't know how to make a good RPG.
in otherwords, don't hold your breath. it's gonna be shit (regardless if it's a new game or a remaster)
