Eventually we'll create something in our resemblance that will realise we're quite honestly useless, get rid of us, then Human will be worshipped as Gods, the Creators, by the very thing we created and killed us.

the earth itself will probably be around for way longer than us, same with other animals and wildlife that we don't kill off

im always skeptical though, even if we did nuke or pandemic ourselves, there would probably still be a pocket of people somewhere that outlast it and live on for a while

Most likely, climate change getting out of hand, bringing about global crop failure, drought, massive migration and societal collapse.
We're in for a wild ride, and it's already started.
We might not die as a species, though a lot of us will. The world will feel much emptier and a lot shittier for those that made it.

For the planet itself? If life extinguishes from Earth, or the planet itself is destroyed, the end-game is the same.
