My cooking skills climax at being to make myself toast without burning it, other than that I can’t make a thing.

Saying that though, I’d /really/ love to be able to cook more things and better dishes, it would probably help me a fuck tonne in later life, I’ll seek help from somewhere online or whatever and try making some deserts for my family

i'll train and have me fish

I can make ramen, myself, homemade ramen.

I have a shop that sells the noodles (all kinds of them in HUGE bags) so I don't have to bother with that and focus on the soup.

i make loads of pasta dishes. carbonara is one of my favorites to make at the station when it's my turn to cook! i also like to make chicken marsala, parm, and stroganoff.

Pasta is the good stuff I swear. More of a pork bolognaise man myself though, thanks to not liking chicken at all.

I’ll seek help from somewhere online or whatever and try making some deserts for my family

Desserts is a good place to start, most recipes for baking just require you to follow instructions. Good for getting a bit of confidence in the kitchen, used to turning the oven on and adjusting temperature, testing for doneness etc. Also gets you used to the smell of burning.

Anyone wanting to get started should totally watch Basics with Babish. It's a video series that covers super basic stuff, how to pan fry, make bread, sauces etc.
