Just emailed this to my district's Representative.
Title: "Concerning S.J. Res. 34, H.J. Res. 86, and H.J. Res. 230"

Content: Representative Frankel, I'm writing to you about the bill that recently passed the Senate due to corrupt Senators taking bribes from big-name Internet Service Provides that would repeal a part of what is considered to be Net Neutrality, along with its sister bills that only perpetuate their almost-if-not-already unconstitutional goal.

If this bill passes, you, your coworkers, and your citizens are vulnerable to any company or individual with enough money to purchase your personal broadband data, which includes your browsing history, as they might use it to blackmail those they hold spite towards. You being a political figure, you must have people who oppose you.

Just think, if you did have something personal and not-to-be-shared, they could use that against in you an incriminating manner, even though such personal knowledge and interests hold no place in politics.

Additionally, it would dig out a slippery slope so that other similar bills could slowly begin to chip away at Net Neutrality, which is a very important concept for the sake of all U.S. citizens and the world, and reflects the founding principles of our nation: Freedom and Equality.

As a constituent of your district, I urge you to vote No on any and all of these bills or anything relating to them, and for you to spread the opposition against your fellow Representatives.

England has passed a similar bill recently via Parliament a few months ago, however there was a part in it or added to it stating that Parliament members cannot be spied on likes it citizens now can be. This means they know it's wrong, but they passed it regardless. Because if it wasn't wrong, why would they try to protect themselves.

I hope you get this and read through it, and I am also looking forward to any form of response.

I implore you all to do the same. Even use the same email if you want! Or change it however you want, just, if you do, be sure to change the Representative's name at the beginning.
Wow, what a spirit! Would have not belived that anyone would have taken this into consideration but you proved me wrong. Good on you!

It's a very serious matter. We have to be strict and inform Congress in any way we can that what they're doing is fucking bullshit. I get very heated on topics like these.

The bill passed in the United Kingdom does not allow the information to be sold to the highest bidder, it only allows the information to be given to goverment agencies. Although Parliament members history is not recorded in the goverments database, the UK law does not allow the highest bidder to view you data.

I did say "similar bill", but thank you for clarifying my boy. I understand most of this community is British, so again, thank you. (I think?)

honestly I wouldn't care much if something like this happened in my country, you don't need to be a genius to tell people watch porn.

It is still the government taking away your privacy rights for the profit of corporations, not national security.

I wish they'd also censor porn, because porn is degenerate and I want to stop being degenerate. I don't want people buying and selling everyone's porn data. That's the point in time where everyone is screwed.

I hate myself everytime I watch porn.

They would if they had hate on you and wanted to ruin your relationship with society in anyway. This would be particularly devastating for anyone holding any form of public office. Humans are social creatures, that's why we have cliques and politics. So anything negative pertaining to their social life is awful.

So it ain't cool.

Reminds me of the time approaching the 2015 election in the UK, Cameron tried to push in a law that required people to get permission from their ISPs to gain access to porn sites, got shut down for the reasons you mentioned.

it's porn, I literally share porn with my friends, we play games like "who can count the most porn stars". if you ask me not watching porn is not natural, watching porn is the natural way. Like literally today my friend downloaded porn on my school's internet. I don't think people would care that I watch porn or not.

I understand porn is natural. My point is, look at Bill Clinton. He had an affair, but that has nothing to do with him being president, however you can see the massive negative reaction on the political level to that.

That's what would happen, but more regularly.
