Two streamers live, streamed going to the exact same planet and standing in front of the exact same NPC last night, guess what? They couldn't see one another. They noticed that their day/night cycles were different, thus proving your game is instanced to you alone.

Tbh the multiplayer was what would of made me get the game
still a boring game, I dont think the multiplayer would save it.

You walk around on a planet, what do you do?

You hold the fire trigger on plants and collect ores, what do you do wit the ores? Ehhhhh... Collect them...

When you're done on a planet you go to the next, rince and repeat.

Same shit could be said for Minecraft during its early days and its become one of the most successful games ever.
No mans sky will start to get better and better, base building will be a thing soon.
Just like Minecraft.

If I ever get the game, I'm gonna name my Galaxy's after sitcoms and kid shows, and the planets after the characters in the said show/sitcom.

I will only play the game for that purpose.

because every game has a development cycle (and player lifespan) that lasts upwards of six years like minecraft eventually did

this isn't how videogames work

And TF2.

And (non-progressively) CoD.

And WoW.

And quite a lot of other games, actually.

I never said that?
No Man's Sky is viable of achieving success and a long lifespan considering the popularity of the game.
The game already has a huge audience and will continue to grow and get better.
Its even top seller on steam lol
