As an Italian, American pizza are weird, they are fat inducing greasy and too thick, and the stuffed on the crust is un-necessary, I ate it once and it wasn't bad but it is definitely not something I'd recommend especially regularly for a pizza, a plain thin/medium size thickness on a pizza can make it go a long way plus the crust should be easy enough to bite in while not breaking your teeth.
