I actually read some of the Quran to see if Islam was a "Violent religion"

Turned out it kinda was.

Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing... but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun(the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)"

Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority".

Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…"

But funnily enough, remember when Christianity was a violent religion?

"If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense."

Well damn looks like two major religions have violence written in them as things you should follow.

But guess what?

Both Muslims and Christians go "Yeah we just ignore those ones" and continue with their life.

I dislike Islam because it oppresses people, it's homophobic, racist and it actually approves of killing people who are not Muslims. in my honest opinion everyone should be free to believe in what they want but if they effect anyone else in a bad way then I think he should not be allowed.
