how is battlefront 2? is it playable after all the justified backlash EA received? i was thinking of buying it because of the graphics and all that jazz, but EA's greedy shit pulled me back
you wont be playing any heroes until you get about 6 hours into the game to learn how to get enough points in a 15-20 minute time frame to play one of the heroes (that being 6000-8000 battle points).
as well as that, some heroes die extremely easily - especially those with lightsabers compared to those with blasters (han being good and able to survive for a long time, compared to the fact that kylo ren will die almost instantly).
but the ranking system is fun. there's a general rank, as well as four subranks; that being the class progression (assault, support, officer, specialist), as well as ranks for each heroes. skills are also well balanced and the grenade spam from time to time in chokepoints is the only glaring issue.
they restrained themselves on overflooding cosmetics, so that there's enough to leave you wanting more but not too many to leave you confused and unknown as to what to get first.
the maps are good, the sound is great, voice acting is well done and the graphics are astounding - if you can get over the fact that leia and finn look a bit weird, as well as some strange mechanics, there's a lot of fun to be had with it.
i've played about eight-nine hours in two days, loving it. glad they removed the fact that i heard you used to have to pay real money or grind like 300 hours to unlock heroes? now they're all unlocked, and all microtransactions have been removed.
