my dog had to be euthanized today so have a wonderful picture i took of her
I'm sorry for your loss my dude.
Dogs are a bigger part of people's lives than people without dogs realize, and while a dog may never speak to you they will convey a thousand words a day just by interacting with you, looking at you and playing with you. I'm sure that she trusted your choice without question and felt comfortable knowing she lived a full life.
I know how heart-aching the decision is; I had to make the choice on whether to put down my 14 y/o Maltese just over a year ago, the decision was left solely down to me and it was a choice I had to make there and then. It's a horrible thing to have to do, but you come to realize that you made the right choice, and a veterinarian wouldn't suggest it if it weren't necessary.
She looks god damn adorable and I can tell just by the photo that she was well looked after; unfortunately some things just happen.
