see, in PERP, you can only get cars for HUGE amount of money

so a few people started massive weed farms and pooled all their money to get ONE car...

if i was a new player, seeing that i have to apply to get into the server is already a big enough hassle

seeing that people who fork over money get let in and prioritized first is even worse

very bad idea, you'll scare off the people who want to join just because it looks interesting at a glance (which most of us did)

It’s possible that it starts public and we then create a whitelisted server to filter people through, or we start whitelisted. Who knows.

i was mostly making a joke at another GTA RP server that is "free to join" but all the free applications are permanently closed, and you can only apply by paying

this is because it's against FiveM's ToS to make servers pay-to-join
