Honestly fucking upsetting since they were sorta coming back to form with TWD and that Batman game, Wolf Among Us was gonna be fucking choice

I think they failed because their games were very much linear, I mean you could save someone, but then they died the first minutes of the next episode, there were little choices really and not enough major changes meanwhile other games have done it better. And the fact that is so linear means that people can just watch youtube for the story and then what's the point in buying it?

I don’t find this an issue cause like it’s the same as watching a movie but I’m apart of it so it kinda connects with you

Issue in my mind is too much filler garbo games. Season 3 TWD shouldn’t exist, 400 days and Black Katana Girl shouldn’t exist, first batman shouldn’t exist, guardians of the galaxy shouldn’t exist

Highly recommend watching Limmy's playthrough of the first season of TWD on youtube if anybody wants to see a poorly written and poorly made game get torn to shreds

To me, TTG shined with S1 of TWD, and the TWAU, my two favourite choose your adventure games, with the latter being really fucking tense, especially as the stakes were raised.

I also loved tales from the borderlands, good shit.
