We’ll have as high standards as we can when it comes to rules and enforcement but it’s not something to care about at this stage.

On the server, will all the GTA cities exist (Liberty City, Vice City, Carcer City from Manhunt, Bullworth from Bully etc.) or will we just go by the normal names (New York, Miami, etc.)

out of habit i'd do the former while using the latter as fills for cities/places that don't have gta'ified names

I doubt anyone is going to have a problem using a discord to track members, chat with them outside the game and post times that everyone should be on to play but I wouldn't expect anything beyond that to be allowed. it's even more moronic to expect a faction using a discord to organize everything not to have a staff member overseeing it all to clear out any actual metagame. even the server that all the text rp martyrs compare this to with like 800 players ends up doing exactly that

As if admins are going to want to babysit multiple discords. Better yet just make a fake discord, invite admins there, and continue to use the real one. Even if I’m not metagaming there’s no way in hell I’m inviting a bunch of server admins to my groups discord lol

If anything, and hear me out, I genuinely think admins should be able to use players’ home addresses to carry out inspections at random. Like this would nip the metagaming scare in the bud and allow for thorough administration.

I get it’s not possible for everyone, since people live abroad and such. There is webcam invigilation software that would work in these cases. Just to prove there aren’t people metagaming with one another in the same room.
