This part got me curious. This timeline's Coalition is made out to be the shattered, but unifying remnants of Europe after Soviet influence. However, what is the drive for Coalition to take the fight across the ocean and go tussle on USA soil? My impression is that it's not as much of a tight-knit alliance as pre-war NATO countries, so where does the coordination and confidence to invade a whole another continent stem from? Or is this something that is going to be explored in the overall narrative?
Ignoring what
@Roosebud wrote I will go on my own theory.
The way I see it, the Coalition of Independent (Socialist) Nations still believe in Marxism and the communist principles, yet wish to see the Communist Revolution carried out in a more egalitarian fashion, rather than allowing the Soviet Union, primarily Russia, to dominate the military alliance and reap most of the reward.
Once the shackles of Russian dominance was shed, the new Coalition seeks to finish the Communist Revolution throughout the world, which requires them to handle their primary adversaries, who are in similar dire straits, struggling with societal fractures from within.
Need I mention the long list of crimes against humanity written up for the tens of thousands of NATO generals, officers, politicians and capitalist industrialists that the Coalition seek to bring justice to through trials?
I find it difficult to believe revenge would not be a motive for the high-level committee members of the Coalition.
I may stand corrected though.
Just make sure you're rather firm with the rules being followed and the rules in of themselves aren't too lax. The one thing that is a prevailing problem of WW3RP is the playerbase its built up over time was groomed into a certain filed of play that more often than not doesn't line up with a serious roleplay environment one-hundred percent of the time and makes people believe its just a CS:GO with RPG elements.
