Thing with hidden phrases in rules, is the fact you can get the answer from somebody else (*cough @Jamie* when we played dayz) or ctrl-f it, negating the whole reason why the phrase would be there in the first place.

Easier to just ask basic questions based around the rules and test somebodies knowledge and or situational awareness.

Can't f4 the answer if it's random every time you refresh the page

with no text rp and strict voice it will be fairly easy to pick them off and purge them.

if there's a case of like deep voice but is actually 14 y/o, could just ask to see a redacted form of ID with their user name written on a piece of paper, can hide all the sensitive details but the date of birth and send to a relevant staff member to verify age. If they don't provide it then no play.

i mean how else are you going to verify someone's age in a situation where their age is in question and the content they're trying to access is age restricted? that method isn't exactly uncommon in this scenario. i guess you could show them a floppy disk or something idfk

absolutely not. it's age gated for a reason lmao, why would any adult in their right mind want to roleplay with a child, especially when the subject matter is adult in nature.

like with all the crazy ass ERPing going on in this community and shit and with people roleplaying torture, executions, etc we shouldn't have kids anywhere near this server lol.

I witnessed LP and I think it was obvious I was not a fan of LP.

We can do better, like, y'know, keeping the RP space a strictly adult space.

Let us worry about verifying people, I'm not terribly concerned if someone lies and nobody can tell. @key is a fantastic example of someone young during LP that had no issue from their age.
