I don't think one of these exists.

I personally really love the culinary arts and I think it would be nice to have a platform to discuss it here with those that are interested.
This is a thread to share anything related to cooking, be it dishes that you made, ate, saw, recipes you've found, general discussion about cooking, ec cetera.

I'll start. Here's an omelet I made a while back.

(The orange shit is melted cheddar by the way, not undercooked yolk.)

Cooking is some good stuff, and definitely a good skill to have.

To be fair, my repository consists of stir-fry and pretty much nothing else, because it's an easy technique for almost any protein and vege combo, as long as it tastes good together.

If you're cooking to impress though, it's good to have a few really solid things presentation and taste wise under your belt so you can wow your coworkers/date.

This soup is what I use when I gotta do that. Just double up on the ingredients and you get 5 servings, so it also works as lunch for the work week.

As for what I've been eating recently, I wanted to try a philly cheesesteak since we don't have em here. Got the thinly sliced beef, and slices of cheese, and then we didn't have any of the proper stuff so I just went with spicy coleslaw.

Those are some big ass flakes of kosher salt, man. Looks real good though.

Made some sweet and sour pork this morning with some white rice and soy sauce. Cubed up a pork chop and fried it in vegetable oil and seasoning, and let it mix with some panda express sauce. It all tasted pretty nice. Don't have a picture, unfortunately.

i love cooking
i think the best thing that ive ever cooked is babyback ribs simply because of the moment when you open the oven, allowing the beautiful aroma to infiltrate your nose.

If you’re into aromas try cooking stuff en papillote

@GhostKripp should visit this thread.

Pizzas are a great way to learn a few basic skills and pretty cheap to make yourself, just a little time consuming with proving time -- unless you knead it and don't bother. Another easy one to make is fresh pasta.
