pilot actually does have a point though, literally no one's going to do an event where it's optional if they're going to have a net loss of gear

like there's literally zero incentive to do that, half the time the task doesn't actually align with the characters own motives either so there really isn't a reason

He has a point, I was just pointing out that expecting a big reward for everything is gonna tire folks out.

But I can confirm something is gonna be in the works for... probably tommorow, if I'm remembering right @dee pixel? Either way it'll solve the ammo problems.

Oh yeah course, but overall unless it's an item they really particularly need, or it's something of equal/more value to what they're expending by going on and completing the task, then they probably won't bother.

That being said, little things don't hurt either, even if it's just a trinket and some ammo to make up for what was done completing the task.

i think @Chezburger did it right, he was zombie lead and i told him too many poison zombies and decided to solve it ic, so me and another vort and gunman cleared out a poison zombie hive, reward was something icly that crippled and killed a few of the rebels aka venom for rebels

and then my friends oocly came up and said "lol so lone would divert some of that venom over right?? Cx" so i just wish the event was private lol

Also re: The NPC's.

They can get annoying but the other side of things is a lot of people have a nasty habit of not portraying something if you aren't watching them. It wouldn't matter how much we stressed the wastes are dangerous, people would pelt all over the map at breakneck speed and I can guarantee none of them would willingly fall victim to an Antlion or other hazard if they weren't directly shown and made to be a real concern.

We've been cycling the Antlions on and off though, so they'll not always be around.

Yeah there's times we turn it off so they're not lagging people/ruining every second step people take.

Obviously announcing it is difficult because everyone will see it as a chance to make a break for it, but yeah they're off more often than they're on.

im really enjoying the proselyte/cop relationship going on atleast how i've seen it so far

cops and proselytes going out together to do stuff, like how i went out with a cop a few days ago to turn all the thumpers back on and we were fighting antlions together back to back

also today with @Numbers where we went to @Zak 's conscript convoy event and he got hit by a slam and i stabilized him and carried him back with my pistol under his leg popping shots off at antlions then we slid down a cliff together

its epic

we're like siblings we say we hate eachother but we truly look out for one another its great i love it =^)

No. They’re less blatant but still offputting. Just tribal black model characters that are tossed every once in a while. Little annoying and don’t fit in, is all. And way too fucking overdone.

I prefer the computer on wheels with personality then those bland unoriginal fucking husks of characters.
