holy shit actually looks good
those graphics wtf COD looks like battlefield now, I could genuinely see COD becoming the king of FPS again, a stark contrast to around the time of BF1 and infinite warfare

it's engine footage so I wouldn't trust it

We'll see when the game comes out, I don't have my hopes up

Give me gameplay, I never trust a cinematic trailer and if you do remember that most of the time what you see is not the final product at all, just look at Ubisoft or cod WWII. Once gameplay comes out then we are talking.

From what I’ve read and watched it sounds and looks pretty awesome if they stick with it, there’s this mission where you play as a tier 1 operator breaching some normal London apartment where terrorists are making bombs, there’s only like 6 of them in there with 4-5 civvies in random rooms. If they stick with keeping it grounded, realistic and with no media red-tape then my interest will remain peaked to the point I’ll buy it. Obviously reviews, gameplay and more trailers need to come out first before I do especially when this CoD seems too good to be true but honestly I have faith, and I won’t call it shit just to be Mr. Cool Gamer without giving it a fair looking into.

I don’t know, so far this year in-terms of gaming looks fucking mint boys.

imagine buying into this after the last five years of cod

minus infinity war and ghosts, i'd say most if not all other CoD games developed by infinity ward are solid, and now they're finally dropping the future era bullshit

some i'm pretty sure this shit will be good

- no season pass
- crossplay
- captain price

and a free dlc afaik

Wasn't the last one they made *just* multiplayer with no campaign?
I've played all Call of Duty games but I play just for the campaign. I don't like the multiplayer.

Edit: Shit just a second too late.

I lost my interest and faith in COD a long while back, but a return to simply doing the Modern Warfare might be the only thing I can think of that could bring the franchise from the dead, because going into the past and the future have both been attempts that have ended up dead in the water every single time.

The past 6 titles have been either Sci-Fi or WW2, the last time we got any game set in the Cold War/Modern setting was all the way back in 2012 (And even then BO2 was a hybrid between Cold War and mild Sci-Fi which I personally think was executed flawlessly).

I said that COD WW2 was Activisions last chance at redeeming it’s most hardcore playerbase, which was clearly lost after that game flopped not long after arrival, so it seems that Activision is trying to pull the nostalgia card this time around; which will either work incredibly well to their advantage or will just kill the game and show that Activision is genuinely out of ideas.

would be interesting to see if they take COD in a different direction, maybe more slow paced and SWAT like

Im not hyped,Cods recent games were not that good.Bo3 was very diffrent and had a shit campaign.Bo4 hopped on battle royale bandwagon and didn't even have a campaign.I love The modern warfare series and i'd hate to see it ruined. So if they are gonna make another MW it better be good.
