I'm honestly disappointed with the "near-future" time period. I would of been much happier if they did some batshit crazy future stuff. Like, imagine conquest on the moon with laser guns and mechs, or a close quarters map set on a space station.

Also, IW had a shit multiplayer because it was just BO3 but worse. They had a cod game set in space and they did nothing to capitalize on the setting.

real talk though, they've picked some fantastic maps to bring in for the first wave, looks like they plan to add more down the line. If it's a good enough experience, I'll definitely pay for it.

BF2042 just doesn’t seem that interesting to me.
Seems like the classic EA move of “quick, grab onto the nostalgia preorders before it flops!”

I generally liked BF1, but going the “Infinite Warfare” route just doesn’t seem right to me.
