Not even a A1 it’s a A2 with a 20 rounder that somehow holds 30. Don’t even fucking get me started on the AKS-75U mods... one of the hand guards literally gives it a SR-3 handguard with a fucking VAL integral can
my main hate for the game is its gunsmith in beta it was just either fast mags, fast wraps, the same 5 shit sights, some random stock wrap and a suppressor
Getting it for "free" with a PC part I bought, selling the key as soon as I get it to buy me something good since apparently its pretty bad, plus its just another cod, nothing special :/
I could’ve seriously made a better modding system. I can think of at least three dozen variants for the 74u alone. And it’s all makes sense. Like something you’d see some shitter with a mill and a few nails
Not the developer, marketing team was pretty genius in this and definitely got a good pay. Merged: While I didn't play nor even buy the game, I can't help but notice in walkthrough videos on how scuffed the gun animations look, how the OST is un-fitting and sometimes playing in moments it shouldn't be and how the characters you are ""talking"" to just freeze and behave very oddly (take Greta as an example, visibly sitting uncomfortably all the time and looking at you eye-for-eye.) I really liked the graphics, it's a great step. The sound design was so satisfying, minigun and helicopter's guns are top-tier. What lacked here is animations (guns, characters), face expressions, voice acting (it's decent, but could be better) and the plot (it's also decent). can we also talk about how the main characters look like generic and cliche Hollywood 90's movies that were inspired by Rambo. and how the important people in the KGB conference room looked like a bunch of thugs. characters themselves look really weird, it's like someone took the male/female placeholder model, put a grass over them as a hair and changed their face a bit.
im going to buy it anyways because i want to reward cold war games and because i like zombies and i like that it came with a campaign and because epic cia story line cliche characters in this setting sort of are cool for me.
i still dont get why black ops in general has started adding health bars to enemies why would you do that - health bars dont deserve a place in fps games
maybe because people bitched about getting 'x' hit markers and not killing them you can always turn it off afaik
i hope so im on the edge of buying the game, maybe on black friday when its discounted but not for the full price im happy about modern warfare, the game is actually good but black ops is just a disappointment. It's starting to look more and more like a chinese knock off with the way things look
frankly, cod is cod. last cod just happened to be stellar. this is looking like a pretty good cod, particularly with the zombies.
Honestly for real idk wtf you guys are talking about in terms of ripping on the game like it has barely any positive qualities. I’ll agree with the technical issues and that things are a touch barebones in places (presumably because they wanted the game pushed before Christmas and that they couldn’t afford to delay the game, only to get put in the spotlight like Cyberpunk 2077) but those issues aside I’ve honestly had a blast with the game so far in the Campaign, Zombies and Multiplayer. The campaign is off the walls in a good way and doesn’t try to take itself seriously all too often; something that hindered titles like MW3 and other similar COD titles that didn’t embrace it. If you went in expecting for every single detail to be period accurate and 100% grounded in historical accuracy then I really don’t know what the fuck you expected from a COD game. I’d much rather have the 80’s neon-fuelled Michael Bay simulator to play than a hardcore realism experience of playing out the AID’s epidemic in my historically accurate woodland camouflage. I find it beneficial myself to be honest. Prevents rage-inducing moments of people spraying their target with 50 bullets, only for the player to interpret it as the enemy having seemingly shrugged them off like it was nothing. Adds player clarity to situations that otherwise would’ve been vague.
It's expected to be unrealistic in the rambo, 'take a thousand bullets and keep going' way. Not unrealistic in the lore aspects, like picklocking doors in the main hallway of the KGB central headquarters with the general secretary present, or killing half a dozen people and 'hiding' their bodies like the KGB wouldn't have a camera or bugging device in every room especially when they know there's a traitor present. Spoiler Or the whole flashback and bunker door shit with bell being 'converted'? Really didn't make sense and felt like a cheap cash in of nostalgia from black ops' flashbacks/fake reality with reznov dont even get me started on the new characters. you call a game black ops cold war with the intent of it being a direct continuation from black ops 1 but hardly include the main characters, and when you do you replace their voice actors and make them comic relief or just embarrass them completely in a certain ending we're just expected to believe that getting into east berlin is as simple as killing 2 grenztruppen in the metro system, or that a CIA agent can just waltz into moscow and covertly enter the lubyanka building unnoticed. how did they get out of moscow once escaping the lubyanka building? why was the massacre inside taken so lightly by the soviet government during the cold war? why the cheesey metal gear solid noises when someone starts noticing you? so much wrong with the game especially when it was hyped up in the trailers and had a good amount of cold war buffs looking forward to it. did the soviet security/intelligence agencies a massive disservice and the story was all over the place. can't remember a good 70% of it having just played through it the other day, whereas I remember the black ops 1 & 2 campaigns crystal clear after not seeing sight nor sound of them for over half a decade was just another cod at the end of the day, which with the long line of failures they've put out recently, isn't a good thing
i think i should be in charge of the next cod game’s story you are a regular soldier tasked with sitting in a watchtower for hours in the blistering heat doing fuck all then a rocket hits your structure and you wake up in a hospital with a £200,000 bill
