the one dude dragging that guy looks like he's dragging towards the fire as well
The video is 1080, but the gif is 720 cause it wouldn't go 1080
Heres a bonus for ya
did a scenebuild to try and get back into posing, not the greatest of course but I haven't touched a phys-gun in months.
I told you once, ragdoll mover tool better than physgun...
Plus what's that map?
the ragdoll mover is utter shit
most of it's a scenebuild, i.e all the background stuff and the furniture.
the map is nevada or something
ur mom shit
ty for the map appreciated mang
Comparison with the Flawed and Fixed Version.
it seems rather flawed still when it comes to it.
Standard close quarters breaching, especially in apartments, usually start with officers carrying pistols serving as point-men, other than that, shields should move in first with SMG close behind should be the one taking accurate shots at the targets.
Plus, aiming with a pistol and shield like that is extremely in-efficient and difficult, considering the shield would have significant weight and balancing it out is still hard, most likely the guy will land his shots at the officer in-front of him or not hitting any-thing at all and being ultimately useless if the guy infront of him is taken out. It doesn't take a soldier to take out someone who's out in the open.
Plus, the shield guy is standing a bit too stiff, he could benefit from being slightly more lower to the ground to utilize that shield properly considering his legs can be shot, and if his back was a bit forward. The SMG guy is also rather stiff looking and could benefit from being a little bit lower to the ground, honestly I would have went for more effective stance with the MP7 being used like it should properly be used by holding it how you would hold any other two-handed firearm.
Another thing I may add, is that there's nothing happening in the background, if you have put in some other units moving off to the right or restraining a subject on the wall or ground, it would look much better.
Thanks for the feedback, I'm not submitting this but since my personal Art thread doesn't get any attention anymore, I post it here...
Sorry I might clutter the thread I guess?
It's fine, it is still my two cents on it, whether you're submitting this or not.
Ty man, the feedback is much appreciated! I really mean it!
Just testing out how a sheild could be used in CQC so I guessed stiff so it couldn't be knocked out his hand as easy if someone kicks it
its still pretty good tho you gotta admit
for someone that isn't a big-up media dev man
fingerposing is on point
they dont look stiff
the slide is even going back on the pistol
hes got the actual posing job done, now he just needs to do everything else
lighting, background etc. are probably things i'd work on
Most of the time, those who use shields do not fire, they're there to take the bullets and that's why they go first. Nobody in their right mind would go ahead and kick someone like a shield and take bullets in their chest.
It's good, but it could still be better with effects and lighting and a bit more focus on the background
i think it was meant to look cool
realism sometimes makes stuff not look cool
Yeah I admit I was gonna originally make the pose a bunch of people running at two dudes with a shields
Plus, in our and HL2 lore, CP's are given guns, armour and told to fuck off outside to do shit. How would they know to breach if they're like a 25 or a 50 even?
understandable, but you can't seriously look at it and can't say that the shield looks quite stiff for someone standing completely straight, holding a shield completely straight and also firing a pistol with barely any recoil one-handed
idk i agree more with mizaye on the point that the two cps are fine as they are
its just the backdrop that needs some space being filled up along with the corner of the apartment
