More like DayZ if you needed something to compare to. You bring in gear and try to do stuff/kill others for more gear. Very customizable weapons and shit like that.

neither lol. it is hard to call it an arena based looter shooter, but it's more or less a survival-FPS RPG with quest lines and MMO elements. hardcore realistic shooter with thirst/energy.

I don’t think anyone’s really drawn parallels cause, to how generic it is— it’s a different feeling to most games.

I’m not super over the moon about it but I don’t go “ughh I might as well play rust”.

It’s their own game, Rust was a survival clone but you can’t compare Rust to anything else cause it branched into something really incomparable to the mainstream market.

(and maybe hurtworld but we don’t talk about hurtworld)

you don't want to rely on melee at all tbh.
But scav knives are good to collect, go to the peacekeeper and you can trade in 8 scav knives for an MP5
