More in depth review from Shrike:
I'm playing on an original 2015 Oculus Rift CV1, with original controllers and only two sensors. So far it's been a bit rough. I can't play for any longer type session because the jitteryness combined with the very low resolution that makes it feel like you're carrying glasses that are smidged up with cum makes it so that longer sessions are very hard. All of the interactions are very nice, but so far I feel as if the environments are a bit samey, but it might be because I spent about an hour or so watching someone play through the first part of the game and then played the same stuff myself, hopefully it'll change up the environments later on in the game.
So far, I'm enjoying the game, but I can't recommend anyone to buy an older vr kit for more cheap to try to experience the game. If you want to get VR, get the modern more expensive variants, cause right now, even if there are many good Vr titles that come out in the future, I can't really recommend paying the price of my setup (2015 Oculus Rift + Half Life Alyx) for the experience that I'm getting.
