Well, I can imagine the tutorial teaches you the basics of combat trough the Italo-Ethiopian war then, which is pretty convenient seeing as that is a pretty "small" war early on in the game, which would then make it relatively easy to manage.

Not getting it. It's waaaay too child friendly now. I just loved the HoI3 tech system, Command lines etc etc.
This new HoI makes it feel like I'm an infant again.
One of the things I managed to pull off in HoI3 was:
Playing as The Netherlands.
Join nobody.
Let France and Soviet Union get the German PainTrain.
Eat Belgium in the meantime.
Soviets start to push back cuz HoI3 Nazi-Germany AI was probably Himler.
Watch the Germans run from France to help on eastern borders.
England was just playing with boats somewhere IDK.
Easy France conquest.
Tasty Mil factories.
SH*T SO HARD ON GERMANY ULM APPEARS.
Just eat Germany.
Just eat weakened Soviet Union.
Japan and America were busy playing World of Warships.
Eat Japan.
Declare on England.
England AI was also Himler (?).
Lands troops all over England.
England falls within a month. (Even Englindia)
Year is 1942 and 9 months.
America never joined allies.
America happy for me killing Germany and Japan.
America showers me with gifts and recources.
Dutch War Machine.
Eats rest of Europe.
Switch government to Nazi Netherlands.
America knows it dun goofed.
Nukes United States back to stoneage.
Just makes it rain radioactive waste in 'Murica, not bothered with an invasion.
Year is 1945.
Zooms out and crashes due to Netherlands 2 stronk 4 engine.
Boots game back up.
Notices autosave was off.
Salt.

I bet, playing as The Netherlands, I can get WC is 1937 in HoI4.
