is it only me who thinks that HoI4 looks way more playable than HoI3? The old tech tree was way too complicated for my small brain...

saw a lot of gameplay and it seems like they've decreased micromanagement, but still have maintained the overall complexity of the game

Just got the game, first one I've played in the series, no idea what to do so I took it slow, played as Ireland and built up a small professional and well trained army. Around 1942~ i decide I'm brave enough to help the allies invade, get a couple of light cruisers and invade a southern French port, kick-starting the retake of southern France. Pretty pleased with the game so far.

played as america in 1939 where i join the allies and i am attempting to nuke the germans (my troops have the worst soft attack compared to spainish(andprobsgermantoo)
