Excuse me, but what's in sauce? And what do you use to make it?
Tis a curry! Put in basic Curry powder (which is like 60 cents for a whole tube of it) along with a lot of tomate frito (I think that's like tomato puree in English?) it's all that's part of the sauce, as well as a bit of water so that it's properly saucy. Then, there's lentils and linguee (albondigas in spanish) along with onion, pepper and a bit of garlic for flavour. Add a couple pieces of chicken and ya got a tasty meal!
Basically, bung everything in a pot for around an hour, with the vegetables going in first, then the powder, then the tomato stuff. Stir for a while, leave it on medium heat, checking up on it every so often. Takes around 45 minutes, then just make up some rice or whatever with it, but it's a tasty dish without rice as well!
Also makes it a great, broke college kid meal for any of you lads out there, since the price per serving is like nothing!
