I don't dislike steak but I think it's really quite boring. Steak snobs are also horrid little creatures. They would scream bloody murder if they got a steak that's medium but I reckon a lot of them would gladly scoff down slightly overcooked chicken.

Alright listen up boys I'm gonna tell you one of the best fucking "poor but hungry college kid" recipes I know

  1. Get some packaged crescent rolls. They need to be the ones in the tube that you can crack open and roll up yourself, pre-rolled won't work.
  2. ALTERNATIVELY, if you're feeling fancy, you can make your own dough for them. I don't know how, but it's an option nonetheless.
  3. Grab yourself a big pack of mozzarella cheese sticks, pepperoni (unsliced is always tastier than pre-sliced, but pre-sliced is cheaper), and a jar of pizza sauce.
  4. Rip your cheese sticks in half, wrap each half in pepperoni, then roll it all up in the crescent roll dough
  5. Slap those motherfuckers in the oven, bake for however long the directions on the rolls tell you, and microwave some of the pizza sauce when they're ready to come out of the oven.
  6. Pull them out, wait for them to cool if you're a pussy, then dip in your hot pizza sauce.
Total cost if you're buying everything is around $15, at least where I am, and since each tube of crescent rolls has like 16 in them, you can make enough for two meals, and the sauce/pepperoni/cheese will last even longer.

Also, unrelated tip, if you're making cheese steaks and have enough class to use onions, caramelize the onions after cooking the meat, in the same pan. The grease will add a bit of flavor, make them caramelize faster, and since meat retains its heat for a decent amount of time you don't have to worry about it getting cold.

Nah I don't season boiled potatoes, just a pinch of salt, most of the garlic goes for the spinach paste.

And it is salmon not chicken lmao
