There's not currently a way to attach a voice channel to a text channel like Teamspeak does.

There's not currently a way to attach a voice channel to a text channel like Teamspeak does.

I mean I use discord every single day to hang out with my friends.
I manage it, add bots as we need them, it's not much work. You can, if you want, go to the trouble of adding moderation bots and such, but I just find it much easier to just kick/ban people causing a problem (Which I've only done a rare few times, as we know literally everyone in the discord and all of us talk about the stuff that goes on and if we should kick/ban and give people second chances)
I like discord because of how simple it is. You talk to people, that's it. It's like a fast-paced forum, you can embed images, meme really quick, it's very nice and clean.
If you at all need help setting one up or with roles, I can absolutely spend as much time as you need setting it up. My only complaint with discord is that limiting who can talk where is a bit strange, here's an example.
I have porn bot A, who I only want to talk in the nsfw channel. Instead of just clicking that it can only do things there, I have to just make a role that's only able to talk in that channel (nsfw) and give it to that bot. On small servers, this can be a little annoying, as roles can add up if you do not clean them out, or if socially everyone has their own roles or there's roles for fun. Here's a look.
Now I'm lazy, and I keep Yuki-chan bot around even though it serves no purpose. D.Va gave herself a role upon invite, Porn Role is for nsfw, NUDE DUDES HERE is the role we give bots, dad bot is dad bot, it gets very strange over time with roles if you don't keep it cleaned. It's important to keep track of roles, and just looking at it I know what I can remove to clean it. gaemsrole is for a channel I made where I post links to free games, and I made it to assist in keeping it clean. There's no specific formatting, it only limits your messages when it's a new day (adds a line.)((Ayana has a command where you can make it say something, and then delete your message. I used it in the games channel to keep links separate, and keep it maintained and clean. I literally had to make 1 role, give it to Ayana to assist in keeping the channel cleaned, rather than one big self post, as I couldn't just modify Ayana's selfmade role to allow her to speak in the channel. I had to make a new one))
So discord is good, but roles can become a problem if there's nobody cleaning it, or maintaining it. I believe the "Owner" of the server can modify integrated bot roles, however. I don't know.
Apologies for the massive post, I just want to get my point across. Discord is clean, but roles can become fucky if you have too many, or try to split where bots can talk.
