What brought you to nebulous and what server do you prefer?

Joined nebulous after LP's downfall to have a forum I can check daily / post on with people I know. Initially intended to become a main player on HL2RP, eventually switched over after being asked to manage a detachment on WW3's coalition and gradually took over as resignations came in and shit happened.

I dont really have a preference honestly

I was never on LP, I was active on another HL2RP server. After growing bored of the server (low player count) I left. I wanted to try WW3RP to see what it was like, but I couldn't as LP shut down like a few days before. A few weeks later, I joined Nebulous' HL2RP server and people were saying they were excited for the launch of WW3RP the next day. I gave it a try and I stuck around.

You wanna know how I found LemonPunch?


THE TRUE STORY:
I literally was bored, had no games to play that I felt like playing anymore, I had just tired of SWTOR for the 1000000th time and I went into a School RP server on Gmod. There I met a Swede named Thor (no joke) and added him, we chatted. He said he had an HL2 RP server that used to be full, but he didn't trust a lot of people with staff so he mostly ran it himself, therefore it mostly died when he was inactive 'cause real life shit, for a month or two.

He introduced me to his friend, whom to this day I am rather confused about. He is that really weird friend that not only never sounds serious, but with a mostly serious voice pretty much all of the time.. and just in general says such weird shit that confuses you and makes you unsure about if he's actually legitimately crazy or just acting. Anyway, they were gonna introduce me even more to HL2 RP, wanted me to join some server I'd like.

But this eccentric friend of Thor's, said that before you truly start to play HL2 RP, you need to go through LemonPunch first. He disliked LemonPunch for some reason, said they call everyone a minge and bans too easily or something. I am pretty sure I asked him what a minge was. Thing is, Thor taught me a lot of basics when he introduced me to his server, I think I also read some guides and shit. But the thing is, I was just going to try out LemonPunch and see how 'bad' it was (supposedly), and then find a server to truly begin HL2 RP-ing on. A week or a few passed, I had completely forgotten why I joined in the first place, and that I wasn't originally intending on staying for that long. That's how much I fucking loved it. Oh, and I got my first whitelist, the CWU whitelist, when I was about a week or two old of a member, in LemonPunch. And on one of the first days of my stay in LemonPunch, I bought VIP or Premium, I can't think straight, this tired, I forget what they called it. VIP, I think. So, when I joined? That was in late February, 2015.


That's most of the story as shortly as I can put it, in my sleep deprived state. It's now half past 8 AM, I'm going to bed. Nighty night.. mmmm I miss me cuddwy bed.... *dies*

After LP servers went down I think it was later the same day or even the day after that someone messaged me on steam and said "Hey there's a new LP community with cool people here's the link"

I joined because of a fellow friend of mine was there too @Redhunter but then I made it official and stayed here and I enjoyed Hl2rp mostly

i played lemonpunch for a couple of months, then it shut down
after some time, i saw the server but wasn't interested in it because of my bugged gun sounds

It all started back in 2015 when I used to play HL2 over and over.

After many run-throughs, I was bored and wanted more.

Started Gmod, scrolled through the game-modes and found 'Combine Control' Fuck that was so bad. I begun to RP there, enjoyed it, was amazed how good it is and I've met that one cuck @Smau there and he then left to LP.

I joined him 3 months before LP died smh.

But hey, here I am today
