Neo Dystopia - Server Idea

I honestly don't have any hihr opinion on the mode/idea, it isn't exactly my taste so I don't want to give a bias cheeky remark, but my main non biased issue with it is the fact we haven't even launched WW3 yet, and it just seems a bit.....needless to pitch a new server idea that could possibly add a third server (though I doubt it) to our community. Do we really need another server possibly popping up and spreading our playerbase even further? Honestly if this did happen, don't take this in a wrong way, but it would probably go the same route EURP did. I'd say put this on the back burner for now, at least speak with the CM in private about these ideas in the future. Again, no hate towards it, but you aren't exactly going to get that many warm responses to a new server idea literally a few weeks (or days, I haven't kept track) after one server got shut down and another is taking its place.

Did you read the thread??? It's just me placing work I do on it now and even said that I have no interest in even bringing this up as a proposition to CM because I'm not capable of directing or doing it or anything it's just an idea I had and I like writing these things and tossing out ideas I have.

Though it does SEEM like a good idea to hold a private server, you have to understand there would be a minor amount of interest along with a small playerbase if it were to be small.

It's just me placing work I do on it now and even said that I have no interest in even bringing this up as a proposition to CM because I'm not capable of directing or doing it or anything it's just an idea I had and I like writing these things and tossing out ideas I have.

there's a limited amount of roleplay that can happen in a zombie survival game in which you have to constantly look around for threats, so it's understandable that there's not as much rp as you'd expect

most dayz servers that did roleplay used voice chat to help counter this, but i dont think that's possible in pz

frundtech and hl2 mix???

Kinda takes ideas from both, the Corporation from the Combine and the lizards from vortigaunts, and the exploration of Frundtech I guess, yeah.

Seems more like a hybrid between HL2 and Shadowrun/Cyberpunk.

Always been more of a fan of Shadowrun, with the fantasy setting added in, but this seems genuinely promising.

To be fair, that's kind of what this sort of universe is about. Fantastical things and feats, with cliches galore.

Overrule still exists, but there are gangs that have evolved over the course of its lifetime that basically dominate it at this point, and it has had issues with pop. People got a little bit intimidated by its complexity at times I think, especially the combat system. It definitely is a cool server though, the map is nice as well.

No fault of your own, it just doesn't show up on the leaderboard I think for EU players, or it's just really low because, well, it never really peaks over 10-15 players.

If you want it to become official, get someone to start coding it. If it's finished, it'd probably become official at some point.

Nothing like an original IP to get people joining. (See WW3RP for that.)

It's not original, it's based heavily off of Gunsmoke as @Koch said, with some major modifications, and I'd have no chance of getting a server concept accepted at no fault but my own, it'll be easy to develop though in all honesty, it's alot more about the structure of the factions and piecing together things outside of the coding that will be troublesome.
