Using the Danelaw option in 867 doesn't make a whole lot of sense considering it's about restoring it rather than creating it in the first place

tbh they should rework that option but it's a very minor nitpick

but yes turns out starting as one of Ragnarr's sons makes you a little overpowered

I would continue until I form Brittania and get the achievement but I forgot to turn iron man on FUCK

(also god damn it why did i have to be disfigured i just wanna look at Halfdan :c )

Long live Emperor Fernán I, who inherited the throne at a young age during war, dealt with numerous rebellions, and used military might, diplomacy, and countless murders to keep the realm in one piece. He may have failed the crusade of the Holy Land, but he has fulfilled his father's dream and lived up to his legacy continuing the Reconquista and subjugating the Andalusian muslims. Soon, all of Iberia will be under the crown of Hispania.

Now, all is not well. The realm faces a powerful enemy in the Almoravid Sultanate to the south, and Emperor Fernán's 4 young sons threaten the future stability of the realm.

Emperor Fernan died and his son Alfonso I took over the throne and converted the last few counties.

Time to put this playthrough on cool for a bit i think

It's still one of my favorite starts in the game, just like it was in CK2. Playing in Spain is great fun, especially because Alfonso kicks ass harder than a methed out mule.

I might do an ez pz Blood Eagle run as Halfdan, or maybe get up to some funny business with Haestein for my next run before I come back to this one. Who knows.
